Full Moon Inspiration Circle

Women's circle gives us a place to be. A place to engage that is genuine and validating. Connecting with ourselves and others in an authentic and accepting way can be unfamiliar in our everyday lives. But when we do, everything changes.

Calling women to gather in circle. Our first circle Full Moon for 2023 is fast approaching, and I would like to know if you have made space to honour your calling as we transition into a new beginning. Over the festive break, I have missed gathering with the sisterhood in a sacred space, for it is in this space that I clearly hear the whispers of my inner calling and trust that calling to design my outer reality. Women's circle gives us a place to be. A place to engage that is genuine and validating. Connecting with ourselves and others in an authentic and accepting way can be unfamiliar in our everyday lives. But when we do, everything changes. In our circle of women, we move beyond the boundaries of our conformity and plant ourselves firmly back in the place we belong, rooted and grounded in our feminine nature. Able to know our dreams, live our values and consciously shape our future. We meet at Inspiration Space, a safe and welcoming sanctuary that holds the fabric of the feminine, and I can't wait to be in circle with you. Each woman meets her unique magnificence through the eyes of the other women, and this type of witnessing is powerful and invites truth. It doesn't matter what you do for a living or what gender you prefer. It doesn't matter how successful you are or how many degrees you have. Women's Circles belong to all women. For we get to claim our disowned parts of self and pursue a deeper relationship with our inner and outer worlds. It is an extraordinary journey collectively and individually and is often described as a "Coming home to Self." What happens: The busy life is parked outside the circle as we descend into a welcoming presence. We sit together, meeting each other, just as we are in the ever-changing moment. Each viewpoint, experience, and voice is held with tremendous respect, free of judgment, competition, criticism or the need to change and fix anyone. There is no feedback, teaching or advice given in the sacred circle. This allows instinctual knowing to come to the surface. We meet as equals. This way of deep listening, truth speaking and witnessing invokes safety, trust and belonging. Each woman brings their unique way of being, and when these threads are woven together, paradigm shifts occur. The circle invokes open-hearted listening, genuine acceptance, true understanding and an awakening to our individual nature. It's a place to take risks, be honest, share, learn, grow, and contribute. If you feel a stirring, curiosity or resistance, this is your body calling out, "take action." About the circle: The circle has particular guidelines containing the space's mystery and safety. I have listed some below: -We all sit as equals with no hierarchy, corners, or podiums. -One woman speaks at a time, and the other women practice open listening and conscious holding. -We use "I" language, and in doing so, we take ownership of our own experiences rather than hiding behind we, they, it. -When we speak, we share honestly and authentically about how we feel. Speaking this way is both powerful and courageous, which may take practice. -You are your authority and only share if you choose to do so. -This space is free of advice-giving, fixing, therapy, comments and feedback. -Judgements are left outside of the space. -The circle's sacredness depends on maintaining the confidentiality and treating each other with the utmost care and respect. Helpful tips: Wear comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle, a wrap to keep warm, favorite cushion; otherwise, we have lots of bolsters and anything else that makes you feel comfortable. Inspiration Space is located at U1, 885 Beauford Street, Inglewood; however, the entrance faces 9th Avenue beside the post office. The space has no stairs and is easily accessible. Please let us know if you require additional assistance; we are always happy to help. About Vida: I'm Vida, woman, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, seeker of Wisdom, lover of ritual and sacred space, published author, speaker, consultant and leader in sacred wisdom practices and contemporary human development. I have been fortunate to spend many years holding space, guiding both men and women in sacred and mindful exploration through workshops, retreats and one on one programs. I believe we are all on a great journey to discover who we are so we can fully inhabit our complete authentic self in careers, business, health, wealth, spirituality and matters of the heart. I have found that many of us have no idea how good they can feel, how happy they can be, or how valuable our skills and experience are. There was a time when I almost settled for less when it all seemed to hard, too big a job, and it was easier to give up than take the uncharted route. I was fortunate; I had some great teachers that guided me to do the exploration and allowed the truth to take shape, it was scary at the start, but I kept going. I learned to move through my self-imposed containment, tap into my Wisdom and create a new way of being in this world. I encourage you NOT to settle for less than you are worth because you and your happiness matter.
